I have been under the care of Mr Chakravarti and have always found him to be highly professional and skilful in all the aspects of care I needed. He has always shown kindness and compassion, and more than willing to explain your condition, treatment and procedures you may require.

My first consultation with Mr Chakravarti followed the diagnosis that I had a kidney stone blocking my left kidney and another rather large stone lodged in my right kidney. Urgent surgery was required to deal with the blockage followed by two further procedures to remove the stones. From the minute I met Mr Chakravarti he completely put my mind at rest, he explained exactly what was needed to be done in a totally professional and succinct manner and left me in no doubt that I was indeed in very safe hands. The surgery was an overwhelming success and such was my recovery time that 10 days after the final operation I was on the Austrian alps enjoying a skiing holiday!!

He is clearly a very skilled surgeon but he is also a very caring man who puts patient welfare at the top of his priority list and as such I would recommend him to anyone.

Following some urinary infections my G P recommended me to Mr. A. Chakravarti. I was Seen quickly & received full investigations. Following cystoscope we decided on a prostatectomy which was performed as a Holmium laser enucleation at the West Midlands hospital. Post operative recovery was very good with minimal bleeding over 10 days. I can highly recommend this form of surgery for an enlarged prostate performed by Mr. Chakravarti who was absolutely professional every step of the way.

I was referred to Mr Chakravarti for investigation of prostate problems, and following a series of tests his recommendation was a holmium laser enucleation procedure.

Although over 70, I still lead an active lifestyle and compete regularly in orienteering events, which involve navigating and running through ragged terrain – including travel overseas to international competitions. I was greatly reassured that Mr Chakravarti took an interest in this important part of my lifestyle, and took account of it when advising and carrying out the procedure. He reassured me that he had taken steps to minimise undesirable effects (such as incontinence) from the procedure.

After a few weeks, I found I was able to resume my running activity as previously, with very satisfactory relief from symptoms and without experiencing any inconvenient or embarrassing side effects.
